What I collect

• From the interest list form: your name, email address, suburb, your kids’ ages, which programs interest you, your phone number if you choose to give it, and how you heard about TerraWander.
• If you enrol in the Field Term: your child’s name and date of birth, your contact details and a second emergency contact, and the medical and emergency information you give me on the forms — including allergies, conditions, medications and action plans where they apply. The Family Field Day doesn’t need any of this, because a parent or carer stays with their own child.
• Photographs of sessions, only where you’ve given written permission on the consent form.

Why I collect it

To contact you about programs you’ve asked about, to run sessions safely, to invoice you, and to respond in an emergency. That’s it. I don’t use your information for anything else.

Who else sees it

Very few people and services:

• Google, which hosts the interest list form and my email.
• Zoho, which I use to send invoices — name and email address only.
• Any second adult helping at a session, who gets the emergency contact and medical information they need to keep your child safe, and nothing more.
• Emergency services, if there’s an emergency.

I don’t sell your information and I don’t share it with anyone else for marketing.

Photographs

I only photograph kids whose parent has given written permission, and permission is per child. You can withdraw it any time by emailing me, and I’ll stop using that child’s photographs from then on. Where a photograph is used publicly, kids aren’t named.

How long I keep it

Interest list entries stay until you ask me to take you off. Enrolment and medical records are kept for seven years after your child’s last session, which is how long I have to keep business records. Then they’re destroyed.

Seeing or removing your information

Email me at hello.terrawander@gmail.com and ask. You can ask for a copy of what I hold about you or your child, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it — except where I have to keep a record. I’ll get back to you within 30 days.

This website

This site doesn’t use tracking cookies, advertising cookies or analytics. Nothing you do on it is recorded. The interest list form is hosted by Google, and Google’s own privacy terms apply once you open it.

If you’re not happy

Tell me first — email me and I’ll fix it. If you’re still not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
